Welcome to the Fidelitas Wine Club!

Fidelitas is a family owned winery found on Red Mountain in Washington Wine Country. Our winemaker, Charlie Hoppes, produces hand crafted, Bordeaux-style wines made from some of the best fruit grown in Washington State. The Fidelitas Wine Club is really more than just a club. It’s more like a full service concierge program, where our members have access to top benefits, events and of course, outstanding wine. This blog is a place where our members can come together to see what is new at the winery, connect with one another, and get a sneak peek at upcoming releases and events.

Where in the world?

As kids, my brother and I spent hours pouring over our "Where's Waldo?" books searching for that wacky character and all the things he left behind on his adventures. Now, there are times in my life where I feel that I'm almost doing the same thing, but instead of searching for Waldo, it's Charlie that I'm after. I swear that guy moves faster than anyone I've ever met, but I now have a solution. For those of you who, like me, are constantly wondering, "where is Charlie?", you can now find him on Twitter (http://twitter.com/cjhoppes). I'm really trying to start following him around more, and it's actually pretty fun! He has posted his most recent interview with Wine Press Northwest about our estate vineyards (http://www.winepressnw.com/wineknows/story/2823.html), there are photos of vineyards, and he's pretty good about posting his schedule. For instance, he's posted that this evening, he'll be at the AVA Wine Rooms in Kennewick featuring wines from the Horse Heaven Hills Appellation. Rumour has it, there may be some Champoux Merlot being poured...

The Vineyard!

Our vineyard has been planted! Dick Boushey, along with Charlie, oversaw the planting of our new Cabernet Sauvignon grapes on the three acres of our estate vineyard on Red Mountain. Here are some pics:
